Job Description

We are looking for mission-driven and highly motivated individuals to join our team and help our client improve patient outcomes, QA, and resource utilization by leveraging interactive database research analytic tools directly to the point of patient care. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, design, development and support of healthcare IT systems and projects in a team-based environment of software developers.

  • Help create new applications and support them.

  • Assist in supporting the current web based applications and databases for KIRSO.

  • Maintenance of existing applications for bug fixes, issues and enhancements.

  • Act as a liaison between the client and its subcontractors, industry, hospitals and federal partners.

  • Works with the Information Security officers to ensure compliance with all IT Security policies and training, including HIPAA and FERPA. Work to create and maintain a secure platform for all data and applications.

  • Foster an environment of heightened security following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training, such as the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.

  • Independently employ a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to support the registries and software development within KIRSO

  • Carry out complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures

  • Training and supporting both internally and externally in the development and use of programs

  • Provide supervision to other programming and managerial staff

  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and six (6) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirements.

  • Experience working with ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, SQL, Javascript

  • Experience working in the healthcare domain is a plus
