About the role:
Seeking an experienced WordPress developer and administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance client WordPress website(s). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both WordPress development and administrative tasks, combining technical expertise with practical site management skills..
Manage day-to-day WordPress site operations, including updates, backups, and security maintenance
Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific business requirements
Configure and optimize popular WordPress themes and modules
Implement and maintain WordPress plugins, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
Perform regular site maintenance, security updates, and performance optimization
Manage user roles, permissions, and content management workflows
Monitor site performance and implement improvements as needed
1-2+ years of hands-on WordPress development and administration experience
Proficiency in WordPress core technologies (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience with popular WordPress themes and their customization
Experience with WordPress REST API
Knowledge of WordPress plugin development and customization
Familiarity with WordPress security best practices
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
Technical Skills
WordPress theme development and customization
