Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design innovative solutions for Android applications with a focus on C++ integration

  • Develop high-quality, efficient, and reliable code using best practices for both Android and C++ programming

  • Update automated tests and testing processes

  • Utilize your strong knowledge of C++ to develop core components and libraries that are integral to the Android application's functionality

  • Collaborate with QA teams to diagnose and resolve application defects.

  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for performance improvement in both the Android and C++ components

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).

  • Experienced developer with 4-5 yrs of experience with Android and C++

  • Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong command of Java

  • Proficiency in C++ programming, including memory management and performance optimization

  • Experience with the following technologies:

    • Java / C++ / Android

    • Shell scripting

    • Python

    • Jenkins

    • Git version control

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.

     

     

     

     

    Nice to have:

    • Linux OS

    • Android JNI / NDK

    • Agile methodologies

    • Knowledge of software design patterns, data structures and algorithms

    • CMake

    • System level debugging
