The role involves actively contributing to the USX Cyber Client Portal project. The New Hire will be responsible for various tasks related to the portal's development, enhancement, and maintenance. This includes upgrading the Drupal version, implementing changes in the color scheme and formatting, enhancing automation and scalability, creating new subpages, and supporting documentation and training efforts. The role is essential in ensuring the successful evolution of the Client Portal to meet the evolving needs of cybersecurity customers.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the migration of the USX Cyber Client Portal, orchestrating a seamless transition from Drupal 9 to the latest Drupal 10 version.
· Drive visual enhancements by implementing tailored changes to the portal's color scheme and formatting, ensuring an engaging user experience.
· Elevate automation capabilities, including advanced metric generation, through seamless integration with AWS S3, Wazuh, and Spiceworks.
· Foster scalability, empowering the portal to effortlessly accommodate surges in user activity and data influx.
· Innovate by designing and implementing new subpages and features that elevate the Client Portal's functionality and user utility.
· Craft exhaustive documentation that comprehensively covers all aspects of the portal's features and configurations.
· Facilitate knowledge transfer by providing invaluable support training to both team members and end-users as required.
· Customize the solution to enable white-labeling, facilitating seamless branding customizations for diverse clients.
Primary Skills:
· Expertise in Drupal development, specializing in Drupal 9 and Drupal 10, with a deep understanding of core functionalities and custom module development using PHP.
· Mastery of front-end development, including the seamless integration of React components to create responsive and interactive user interfaces, with proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js).
· Proficiency in containerization using Docker, enabling the deployment and management of web applications within isolated environments, optimizing scalability and resource utilization.
· Technical acumen in setting up, configuring, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, leveraging GitHub for version control and automated build and deployment processes, with knowledge of scripting languages like Bash.
· In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and technologies, encompassing advanced AWS S3 integration, Wazuh threat detection, and Spiceworks network monitoring, to ensure robust data protection and threat mitigation.
Nice To Have:
· Experience with Headless CMS: Familiarity with headless content management systems (CMS) like Drupal's JSON:API or GraphQL for decoupled Drupal development.
· DevOps Proficiency: Knowledge of DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible, and experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
· Cloud Platform Expertise: Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for scalable and secure application deployment.
· Backend Development Skills: Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as PHP (in the context of Drupal development), Python, or Ruby, depending on the project's requirements.
· Security Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) to bolster the project's security measures.
· Knowledge of Microservices: Understanding of microservices architecture and the ability to design, develop, and integrate microservices into the application.
· Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments, facilitating collaboration and project management.
· Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing application performance, including front-end and back-end optimizations, using tools like Webpack or Varnish.
· Database Management: Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases, depending on project requirements.
