Job Description
We are looking for a mid-senior software engineer to work full-time on our client projects. The initial client we’ll be staffing is a climate tech startup based in NYC.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills:
● PHP / Laravel
● SQL
● HTML / JS
● CSS
● Mastery of their OS. We can help with OSX/Linux, we are not going to support the dev environment for Windows users. In whatever case, full competency in getting apps up and running in their preferred environment.
Nice to have skills:
● Tailwind mastery. Somebody who can fly through styling Tailwind-based UIs, barely looking at the docs
● Typescript, React
● Svelte or HTMX
● Java, Kotlin, Scala, C#, or similar language. Solid experience and comfortable working in this ecosystem
● Docker, Linux, PAAS and/or Cloud experience
Requirements
● CS degree
● 5 years experience since graduation
● Conversational english level
● Self driven, will ask questions if unsure
● Compatible with light management (we do not want to micro-manage
