What you will be doing:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various software applications.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify vulnerabilities and defects.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and risks.
- Document and track defects, providing detailed reports and working with developers for resolution.
- Interact cross-functionally with other teams to ensure seamless integration of new software.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in automation testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for automation (e.g., Java, Python).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Experience in the Tech-centric Managed Services industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Secondary skills in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent are advantageous.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
