Job Description

  • Collaborate with teammates in product management, quality assurance/testing, marketing, and sales to develop and execute development strategies for our SaaS solution. 

  • Design and develop clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code; 

  • Develop new functionality and enhancements using everything from AI and API’s to optimize our solution 

  • Develop knowledge of data structures and software architecture 

  • Use prior experience to work within a tightly integrated team to bring user stories to life 

  • Collaborate with product management to improve the product roadmap 

  • Manage the development feedback loop with QA, Product Teams, Sales, and Customer Success. 

  • Provide clear and accurate estimations on new functionality development and enhancement

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of Ruby and ReactJS professional experience experience

  • Inherent curiosity about development, problem-solving, and a passion for bringing ideas and new products to market. 

  • Strong technical skills in: 

    • Front end: React,  Redux, Material-UI, VueJS

    • Back end: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Sidekiq, Redis, Rspec, Docker, Nginx, LimeSurvey, Tailwind CSS, Hotwire

    • AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, ElastiCache 

    • Build and Deploy: Jenkins Basic Linux experience 

  • Intermediate to Advanced working proficiency in English, both written and verbal is required

  • Enthusiasm to work remote with an international startup team; HQ in the US and team members in Europe

  • Experience and passion for solving technical problems 

  • Experience optimizing for short-term execution while planning for long-term maintenance. You have strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
