Requirements:
Proficiency in NodeJS/TypeScript for backend development, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Experience in developing and integrating REST-based APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Familiarity with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design, normalization, and optimization.
Knowledge of React for building user interfaces and integrating frontend components with backend services.
Experience in unit testing frameworks and writing test cases to ensure code quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using NodeJS and TypeScript, ensuring functionality, performance, and security.
Integrate frontend components with backend services to create seamless user experiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy REST-based APIs for various applications.
Perform schema normalization and database optimization to enhance system performance and scalability.
Write unit tests for backend services and APIs to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Nice-to-Haves:
Familiarity with Loopback 4 or Spring Boot for rapid API development and deployment.
Experience with Supabase, a open-source Firebase alternative for backend development and database management.
Knowledge of Retool, a low-code platform for building internal tools and applications.
Previous experience or exposure to the financial or private investment sectors, understanding their unique requirements and challenges.
