NodeJS/TypeScript Developer

Requirements:

• Proficiency in NodeJS/TypeScript for backend development, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

• Experience in developing and integrating REST-based APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability.

• Familiarity with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design, normalization, and optimization.

• Knowledge of React for building user interfaces and integrating frontend components with backend services.

• Experience in unit testing frameworks and writing test cases to ensure code quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using NodeJS and TypeScript, ensuring functionality, performance, and security.

• Integrate frontend components with backend services to create seamless user experiences.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy REST-based APIs for various applications.

• Perform schema normalization and database optimization to enhance system performance and scalability.

• Write unit tests for backend services and APIs to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with Loopback 4 or Spring Boot for rapid API development and deployment.

• Experience with Supabase, a open-source Firebase alternative for backend development and database management.

• Knowledge of Retool, a low-code platform for building internal tools and applications.

• Previous experience or exposure to the financial or private investment sectors, understanding their unique requirements and challenges.
