Project Description

You will be part of a dynamic team that develops custom front-end interfaces for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and integrates new and existing equipment into broader manufacturing infrastructures. Projects range from creating UI/UX designs for shop-floor interfaces to configuring back-end systems that facilitate data collection and system performance analytics.

Job Description

  • Develop and integrate PLC programs with broader manufacturing systems.

  • Design and develop user interfaces (UI/UX) for shop-floor applications using technologies like C#.

  • Collaborate with the team to implement Power BI dashboards and data reporting systems.

  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of back-end processes, including using SQL Server and SSRS for data reporting.

  • Customize MES front-end interfaces as per specific customer requirements.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their operational processes and provide tailored software solutions.

  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for live systems, ensuring optimal uptime.

 

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Languages and Technologies:

    • PLC Programming (Rockwell, Siemens) - 5+ years

    • C# Programming - 5+ years

    • SQL Server, SSRS, Power BI - 4+ years

    • Experience with AVEVA/Wonderware is a plus.

    • Familiarity with MES systems is highly desirable.

  • Front-End Skills:

    • Strong knowledge in UI/UX design for functional user interfaces, with experience using Figma, Photoshop, or similar tools.

  • Additional Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex system integrations.

    • Effective communication skills to work with a diverse, international team.

    • Experience in industrial manufacturing environments is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project timelines.

Work Setup:

  • Remote work with flexible hours. Must accommodate regular collaboration with US-based team members.

  • Candidates must be able to work on projects for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential for longer engagement.
